Voice Acting Resource List

So you’re interested in becoming a voice over actor? Awesome! I LOVE my job, but I have to share a secret with you: it’s not as easy to get into this industry as many people think.

One of the best pieces of advice I could ever give you is this: Do your own research! There is a LOT to learn, and I actually researched, listened to other people’s demos, and absorbed everything I possibly could for 6 MONTHS before I even pursued voice acting as a career. It’s expensive to get into this business, but less so than a brick-and-mortar start-up. But NO, not EVERYONE can do it. That is a myth indeed.

So to that end, I’ve created a resource list for you to enjoy and benefit from, neatly categorized by medium type. Almost everything here is FREE which is even better! The two paid courses are ones I have personally looked through and highly recommend as worthy of you spending your hard-earned dollars on.

I get a high volume of emails from people asking me to help them get into voice acting and I just can’t keep up with them, which is why I’ve created this resource list. I also highly recommend joining as many voiceover-related Facebook groups as possible so you can learn from what other people are asking, but please oh please use the search tool within the group to see if your question has already been brought up. You can learn so much this way although don’t forget that you can’t believe everything you find on the internet.

All the very best to you!
